Cookie Throwdown: The aftermath

December 3, 2008

Remember the post about the cookie throwdown?  It finally happened, people.  And it happened on Wednesday, November 19 at 10:30am in the infamous Lair.

To refresh your memories, one quiet day in the lair, Kim firmly challenged incumbent cookie-baker Crystal to a cookie throwdown.  To which Crystal said, Bring it on.

And this, my friends, is how it began.

The day of the smackdown throwdown, Alex set up the tables.  He even brought the milk.  (Horizon Organic, ah hem.)  He made the score cards.  The judges were there.  So were the uproarious crowds.  With (almost) everyone there, including one particular [redacted] agency owner, things got serious.

And then, it was on like Donkey Kong.

The judges meticulously sampled Cookie A and Cookie B.  They washed the chocolate chip wonderfulness down with 2%, fat-free and whole milk.  They took copious notes with Crayola crayons, critiquing down to the tiniest detail.

Who did they favor?  Whose cookies triumphed?

The crowds screamed, Whose cookie is A?  Whose is B?  We need to know!

Who prevailed?

Kim, uprooting incumbent Crystal, took home the glory, thus marking a historic (baking) occasion at RT.

How did she take Crystal down from her reign?  A secret ingredient.  Which will remain a secret for eternity.

What is Crystal up to now?  Watch E in ten years for her E! True Hollywood St. Louis Story.  But, for now, check out the video.

Your vids are terrific MP. I think the next throwdown should be rock paper pinking shears.
